# Supported platforms

The Forex and CFD platforms you can connect to Trada today, how each one authenticates, and the Futures platforms that are coming.

Trada connects to the platforms and brokers you already trade on, copies trades between the accounts you own, and journals your trades. This page is the reference list: which platforms you can connect, how each one authenticates, and what is coming next.

## Compare the supported platforms

You can connect six Forex and CFD platforms today. cTrader connects through a secure sign-in (OAuth); the other five connect with credentials — the platform login you enter when you add the account.

Futures connections are not open yet. You can't add a NinjaTrader, Rithmic, or DXFeed account today, and the **Accounts** page shows only the **Forex** tab. See [Connect a Futures account](/connecting-accounts/connect-futures.md).

On the **Forex** tab you can view your accounts two ways: **Nested** (the default) shows each login as a row with its trading accounts underneath — one TradeLocker login can hold several — and **Flat** lists every trading account as its own row.

## Understand connection types

**Secure sign-in (OAuth) — cTrader.** You authorize Trada through cTrader's own sign-in page. Your cTrader password is never entered into Trada. You start it from the **Add Account** dialog with **Authenticate cTrader**. See [Connections & cTrader sign-in](/connecting-accounts/credential-sets-oauth.md).

**Credentials — every other platform.** You pick your broker's server and enter the login your broker or prop firm gave you, directly in the **Add Account** dialog. On TradeLocker that is your login email, your password, the broker server code from your TradeLocker login screen, and whether the account is Demo or Live — see [Connect a Forex or CFD account](/connecting-accounts/connect-forex.md) for the TradeLocker steps.

## Copy and journal on every platform

Every account you connect, on any of the six platforms, feeds the journal and Reports, and can be picked as the **Sender** or a **Receiver** in a copier. A copier's receivers must be in the same market as its sender. For how senders and receivers work, see [Create a copier](/copy-trading/create-a-copier.md).

### Open the Add Account dialog

In **Accounts**, on the **Forex** tab, select **Add Account** and pick your platform.

### Authenticate for that platform

For cTrader, pick your server, then select **Authenticate cTrader** and authorize Trada on cTrader's sign-in page. For every other platform, pick your server and enter your platform login in the dialog, then select **Add Account**.

### Import your accounts

On cTrader, TradeLocker, DXTrade, and MatchTrader, **Import Accounts** opens next. Keep the accounts you want ticked and select **Import&#x20;*****N*****&#x20;Account(s)**. MetaTrader accounts are added straight away.

### Confirm the connection

Check that the account's **Connection** column reads **Connected**. It can also show **Syncing**, **Sync error**, **Blocked**, **Unavailable**, or **Disconnected** — see [Syncing, status & troubleshooting](/connecting-accounts/syncing-troubleshooting.md).
