# FAQ

Quick answers to common questions about Trada.

Short answers to the questions that come up most often. Trada is trade-copier and journaling software that sits between the trading accounts you already own — it is not a broker, trading platform, or adviser.

## Signing in and access

### How do I sign in?

Trada supports two sign-in methods: **Google** and **email and password**. Apple and Discord sign-in are not available.

### Which platforms can I connect?

Six Forex and CFD platforms: MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, TradeLocker, DXTrade, and MatchTrader. Futures platforms — NinjaTrader, Rithmic, and DXFeed — are coming and can't be connected yet.

cTrader connects through secure sign-in (OAuth) rather than a manual credential entry. See [Supported platforms](/connecting-accounts/supported-platforms.md) for connection details per platform.

## Trades and the journal

### Can I add or edit trades manually?

No. Every closed trade auto-syncs from your connected accounts and logs into the journal automatically. There is no manual trade entry, editing, or deletion — the journal reflects what actually executed on your accounts.

You can still annotate any auto-logged trade with a rating, emotional state, notes, a strategy tag, and setup type. Annotation adds context; it does not change the trade record. See the [Journal overview](/journal/journal.md).

## Social trading (Follow / Provide)

### Can I follow other traders or provide signals?

Social trading — **Follow** and **Provide** — is in development and not yet available. You can join the in-app waitlist to be notified when it opens. See [What's coming](/sharing/roadmap.md) for the current status.

Trada today copies trades between accounts *you* own, from a master (Sender) to one or more followers (Receivers). Copying from or to other people's accounts is not part of the current product. See [Copy trading](/copy-trading/copy-trading.md).

## Sharing and certificates

### Can I download my certificate or report as a PDF or image?

No. Certificates and shared reports are **read-only links** rendered live in the browser. There is no PDF, PNG, or file download — you share a URL, and anyone with the link sees a current, read-only view.

An image you upload for a strategy or profile (JPG or PNG) is unrelated to this and works normally. The read-only-link rule applies specifically to certificates and shared reports.

## Notifications

### Will Trada email me or send push notifications?

Trada emails you about a few account and billing events: verifying your email, password reset, an account connecting or failing to sync, your first copied trade, and subscription and payment changes. Everything else — copier activity, protection alerts, deals, and errors — appears only in the in-app notification center, which keeps alerts for 30 days across five categories. There are no push notifications (browser or mobile). See [Notifications](/account-and-security/notifications.md).

## Plans and billing

### What currency does Trada use?

USD only. All plan prices, balances, and reporting figures are shown in US dollars. Multi-currency is not supported.

### How do I cancel my subscription?

On **Billing**, select **Cancel Subscription** on the **Current Plan** card, then confirm twice. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period, and until then you can undo it with **Keep My Subscription**.

When the period ends, Trada disconnects every trading account and pauses every copier. Nothing reconnects by itself if you subscribe again.

### Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan supports 2 accounts and 1 copier at no cost. If you hold an account with one of Trada's partnered prop firms or brokers, connecting it can also grant you that partner's plan at no cost, once.

### Is there a public API?
