# The operator model

Why Trada frames multi-account trading as an operation — managing systems and capital, not single entries.

Most trading tools are built for the trader chasing a better entry. Trada is built for the operator — the person who runs systems, capital, and accounts as one operation.

## Reframe the question

Almost everything written for funded traders addresses the same identity: the trader optimizing setups, entries, and exits. That work matters, but it has a ceiling. Past a certain point the constraint is no longer the next signal — it is whether you can run many accounts, across many firms, without the operation falling apart.

An operator manages systems, capital, and accounts. The operator's edge is not a sharper entry; it is a repeatable process — risk that runs independently of mood, records that survive a bad week, and the same discipline applied to every account. Operators scale what already works, and they do not blow accounts because their protection rules do not depend on how they feel that afternoon.

> Stop trying to become a better trader. Start becoming an operator.

This reframes the ambition without promising anything about outcomes. Trada does not place trades for you and makes no claim about results — it is the infrastructure an operator runs on.

## Recognize the operator

The operator identity is not a more sophisticated strategy. It is how you run trading as an operation. In practice it looks like:

* Treating each funded account as a capital allocation, not a lottery ticket
* Running risk at the system level, not the emotional level
* Keeping a documented record someone outside you could read — not just a P\&L number
* Operating across several firms to reduce dependence on any single one
* Applying one consistent process to every account you run

The distinction is honest about its own limits. Running multiple accounts without a system is just a larger bet, and Trada is not built to scale bets. It is built for operators who already have a process and need somewhere to run it.

## Map process to the system

Each operator behavior maps to something Trada actually does.

| Operator behavior | What runs it in Trada |
| ---------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Risk at the system level | Per-account (**Receiver**) protection thresholds at Daily and Overall horizons, with automated actions — close the copier's positions, stop the copier, or both |
| One process across many accounts | Real-time copying from one **Sender** to multiple **Receivers**, each with its own lot sizing and stop/target handling |
| Operate across firms and platforms | Six Forex and CFD platforms today, symbol mapping between broker naming conventions, and per-copier working hours |
| A record someone else could read | Every closed trade auto-logs to a unified **Journal**; cross-account **Reports** and the six-metric **Health Score** aggregate it |
| A record you can hand over | A read-only public report link and live-rendered certificates, shared as a URL |

{% hint style="info" %}
Trada is trade-copier and journaling infrastructure — not a broker, a trading platform, or an adviser. You keep every trading decision, and full responsibility for your accounts, at all times.
{% endhint %}
